NYSE Euronext hosted its third annual Russia Day at the New York Stock Exchange on 18 November 2013.
The three hour, invitation only, high level event was attended by 150 participants including leading US based institutional investors, advisers and global media. The Russian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Sergey Belyakov and included business leaders such as Anton Karamzin, Senior Vice President, Sberbank, Yuliana Slashcheva, CEO CTC Media and Artem Konstandyan, CEO, Promsvyasbank.
The NYSE Russia Day is an important initiative and one of the ways we contribute to the development of Russia’s capital markets. For the past three years, we have brought together government officials, CEOs, investors and asset allocators for a very direct and open dialogue aimed at increasing awareness of the changes in the Russian markets.
The 2013 NYSE Russia Day highlighted the numerous investment opportunities in Russia, key sectors of investments such as Technology, retail and financials and also discussed openly areas to develop Foreign investments in the Russian economy. The forum delivered unrivalled opportunities for strategic discussions among market leaders and confirmed its position as a centrepiece of the US-Russia business calendar. We are thankful for the positive feedback received from participants and attendees.
NYSE Euronext gratefully acknowledges our event partners Sberbank, Vnesheconombank, Cleary Gottlieb and St Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) and our media partners Itar-Tass, Ria Novosti and Russia Today.
We would like to invite you to explore the full library of content, videos, summaries, quotes, blog posts and highlights posted on the website. We will continue to upload and update it with new content as it becomes available.
Thank you for supporting this important initiative.
