Regulatory bodies

NYSE Euronext London is operated by LIFFE Administration and Management, which also operates the London market of NYSE Liffe, our leading international derivatives business, and is regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

The Financial Services Authority (FSA)is an independent, non-governmental body that regulates the financial services industry in the UK.

The FSA’s statutory objectives were set up as under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSAM). As the financial regulator for the UK, the FSA uses a wide range of rule-making, investigatory, and enforcement initiatives.


Existing members of NYSE Euronext’s European Securities Markets can quickly and easily extend their membership through the NYSE Euronext Extension of Activity Form .

Firms that are not currently members of NYSE Euronext’s European Securities Markets that wish to trade directly on NYSE Euronext London must complete the NYSE Euronext Membership Application Form and submit it to NYSE Euronext for approval.
